I Quit is the thirty-ninth episode of MyMusic (show). In this episode, Intern 2 talks to Scene about trying to get her back in school, Idol gets good news about a future podcast and Hip Hop struggles with identity.
Plot[]
In the show, while Intern 2 tries to convince Scene into finding a way to get back to school, Techno & Dubstep tiredly drag Idol into the office after she raved too hard at the Technicolor Sunflower Freakout. However thanks to Country, Idol is brought back to her old self. As a plus for her, Techno & Dubstep booked DJ Elephant on a future podcast show.
Meanwhile, Hip Hop struggles with his identity crisis. His family tells him to be true to himself and not to live as a stereotype, even though they are eating food that stereotypically, a black person would eat. Also, just like in State of Shock, both his shoulder angel and shoulder devil try to convince him what's best. However, instead of the shoulder devil winning, it's the angel who becomes the victor by killing him with kindness. Satan immediately appears, realizing that he's too late to convince Hip Hop to do a bad deed.
Hip Hop then goes to Indie's office and stand up to him by saying that he's not going be Hip Hop anymore and then changes his clothes into his "nerd" outfit. When Indie tells him to go back into the closet to work, Hip Hop says "I quit!" and leaves the company, much to Indie's shock. Over the end slate, Techno and Dubstep remind the viewers to stay hydrated or end up just like Idol did, and keep watching the MyMusic channel for more related content.
Trivia[]
- The opening scene was omitted in the TV version of Raver Madness.
- This was the only episode that Aunt Beverly was mentioned. Aunt Beverly would later appear in Breaking Up?
- The vomit that Idol spat on Scene was made out of oatmeal, Diet Coke and peanut butter crunch.
- The scene of Metal slamming the cake on Scene's head (a reference to Family Therapy) was extended in the TV version of Raver Madness. However, the extended scene was seen in the 47th episode of The Mosh.
- This was the first episode to contain a reference to Game of Thrones. The second was Saying Goodbye :(.
- This was the fourth and final episode to feature Techno and Dubstep in the end slate. The others in the first season were Invisible, They Finally Kiss and Multiple Personalities?
